The Complexity Management Academy is conducting the consortium benchmarking study "AI-driven Product Development" together with the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University, thus continuing a series of successfully completed benchmarking projects of this kind. Our customers from industry appreciate our professional project management in addition to our in-depth technical and methodological expertise.
The study investigated which aspects of digital end-to-end product development in industry are addressed by established solutions and where challenges still exist. From detailed written questionnaires, which were answered by around 120 companies, success factors for the design of digitally integrated product development were identified. These are divided into the fields of digitalisation strategy, organisational responsibility, data basis and information provision.
